A family-run business, The Cafe on the Green is the first purpose-built tearoom on Dartmoor and has been serving visitors to Widecombe-in-the-Moor for almost a century.

The cafe offers great food from a varied menu with something for everyone. Freshly-cooked meals and refreshments are available all day, every day, lovingly prepared on the premises by Jamie and Becca and their growing team. You can be sure of a warm welcome with the cafe catering daily to locals and visitors, riders, bikers, hikers, dog walkers and their dogs!

In addition to using local produce in the menu, the cafe has a small retail area showcasing West Country food and drink - a great way to spread the word to visitors about the outstanding quality of food and drink produced here in the South West and a great opportunity to pick up a gift or souvenir of your stay at Lower Venton Farm!
